About Us
History
Started in 1997, Me for Incredible Youth creates and builds a stronger community through quality youth sport programs and enrichment of education. Students and athletes, ages 12-18, are less likely to drop out of school when involved in organized activities. Our purpose is to introduce and maintain student participation in education, sports, enrichment and career development. We provide students and athletes the tools to succeed in high school, help them explore their talents and understand how to utilize community resources. Our members will have a career plan once they become high school graduates. A plan that will impact and improve our local workforce.
Mission
Me for Incredible Youth, Inc. (MEFIYI) is a 501©3 non profit organization who supports Nevada youth in the areas of amateur athletics, recreation programs and physical fitness.
Results
Raised over $5 million dollars supporting over 30 Nevada youth oriented non profit organizations.
Initiated and raised the start up funding for the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada Carson Valley Branch located in Gardnerville, Nevada.
Donated funds or organized programs in Douglas, Washoe, Carson City, Clark, Pershing, Lyon and Nye Counties in Nevada
Teaching the importance of education through sports and enrichment
Together, with partners, awarded 173 College Scholarships
Mentored 127 students and athletes who are full time employed
Honored 890 Molly Youth Award Winners for their combined excellence in athletic participation, academic performance and community service
